A cultural initiative with a social purpose

Culture that gives back.

Ghoomar celebrates the spirit of Rajasthan, builds connections across communities and grows with a purpose beyond performance.

Why Ghoomar

Culture can do more than entertainment.

Founded by Anjali Bapna, Ghoomar is an independent cultural initiative created to preserve and promote authentic Rajasthani folk dance across the world — while building opportunities to support artists, artisans, communities and meaningful social causes.

Celebrate where we come from. Connect where we are. Give something back along the way.

One movement.
Four ways to matter.

Dance is the beginning, not the boundary. Ghoomar's longer journey connects cultural preservation with people, livelihoods, community and giving back.

01

Preserve Culture

Promote authentic Ghoomar and Rajasthani folk traditions across borders.

02

Elevate Artists

Work with carefully selected professional folk artists and trainers.

03

Support Ecosystems

Bring visibility over time to artisans, designers, photographers, performers and local contributors.

04

Give Back

Grow with the intention of contributing to society, underserved communities and animal welfare.

People before platform

The people behind culture are part of the story.

Authenticity matters

Curated artists.
Trusted traditions.

Ghoomar is not an open artist marketplace. Artists and trainers are selected by Anjali and Ghoomar based on quality, experience, authenticity and alignment with the initiative. Future discovery may happen through selected events or invitation-based programs.
